I’ve been searching for a quality faux leather jacket for awhile now and happened to stumble upon this  jacket last month while shopping online. The reviews were very promising. Almost everyone raved about its quality, fit, color and affordability. I almost bought it but changed my mind at the last minute. I was worried the XS wouldn’t fit my super petite frame so I placed it in the cart and forgot about it. A couple weeks ago I got an email from Nordstrom reminding me about this jacket still in my cart. Oh the temptation! Since there were only a few XS left, I decided to go ahead and ordered this jacket in black.

I was pleasantly surprised when I finally tried it on. The quality is great for faux leather and to be honest, it looks just like real leather. Sure, it doesn’t have the same weight and sturdiness of real leather, but it’s probably the highest quality you can expect for faux leather at a $100 price point. The lining is made of polyurethane which feels soft and silky. I hate it when jackets are lined with a polyester which feels itchy and plasticy. As far as the fit, as you can see from the photos, I couldn’t been happier. The collar is a bit bent but it was due to my own fault. I forgot to hang it up. Oops! Being OCD, I went back and bought the fuchsia version. I love the boldness of the color and I can see myself wearing it with a lot of other pieces.

Thank you so much for reading!

Happy Friday lovelies! In our Coast to Coast Street Style collaboration with Karen Kane today, Jessica, Johnnalynn and I showcase our favorite fall styles themed for a girlie brunch date.  Sometimes I really wish we lived in the same city because having brunch with these lovely ladies would be so much fun! Since the trench coat is another of my favorite fall staples, I was excited to style it again with this cute striped dress from Karen Kane. Tying the fall look together I’m wearing black riding boots. When I tried on these boots I was amazed how well they fit me. Usually my calves are too slender to fill out the boots, but these are pretty snug. Love them!

While writing this post I remembered a short video I did last fall about styling trench coat. Time flies so fast! I can’t believe it’s already October. I hope you’ll enjoy the video. <3

When you have a color as beautiful and delicate as mint, you can’t help but make it the star of any outfit. It doesn’t matter what the season is mint never goes out of style to me. My heart races a little bit every time I see something cute in mint. This little mint dress was a gift from my sister. She stopped over for dinner one night and handed it to me. I have no idea what the label is, but it doesn’t matter because fits like a dream. The skater look is timeless. To compliment this little mint dress, I’m wearing floral pumps and belt with splashes of mint to tie in with the dress. And of course to continue my love affair with hats and have a little fun, I’m wearing a hat. I don’t look good in most hats because I have a rather strange head shape (haha), but the wide brim shape is very flattering on most head shapes. What’s your favorite to-go color? Thank you for reading and have a fabulous weekend!
