Happy Friday everyone! It’s already mid-October and I am so excited that Halloween is just two weeks away. Last month I had the opportunity to collaborate with GLAM Style to feature several DIY Halloween costumes as part of their Style Squad series. It was really fun and bit nerve wracking to be honest. It has been ages since I last filmed a video and this time with 10 other people in the room. Needless to say, the GLAM team was super sweet and supportive. They made the experience so much fun and easy.
This video features DIY denim on denim Halloween costumes from myself and three other fab bloggers: @kacieklosetblog, @thecarolineinthecity and @ryzenbergon. When I was given this theme I immediately reached into my closet for these two contrasting chambray pieces. They’re pieces that I think most girls already have in their closets and can easily be transitioned into a DIY costume. Since I was going for a Cow Girl look, I styled the outfit with some cute booties, a rodeo hat and handkerchief. So easy and effortless. I hope you’ll enjoy the video!
A bit random, but I couldn’t help but include this photo of our family at the pumpkin patch this past weekend. This was the first time I ever went to a pumpkin patch and it was a lot of fun. In the middle is my cute niece TT, a little fashionista in the making. You might see more of her on the blog in the future. She has my husband wrapped around her little fingers with her cuteness. <3 If you're in the mood for shopping this weekend, today is the first day of the Shopbop Friends and Family Event. Everything is 25% off! Use code FAMILY25 at checkout. Happy shopping!
