It’s Friday, yay! What are your weekend plans? I’ve been holding on to this set for a little while now so I’m bursting with excitement sharing with you today! This is Johnnalynn’s, Jess and my second Coast-to-Coast Street Style Series collaboration with Free People, and we’re all about these pretty floral bohemian dresses. This is by far one of my favorite dresses of the series. It’s so unique compared to everything else I own. There is an easy yet sexy vibe about that this dress. And since I’ve been loving the bohemian / gypsy-inspired style lately, this dress is perfect for that type of look.
How To Dress Bohemian Style
1. Wear It Flowy
No matter what you wear, whether it’s a maxi dress, skirt, top, or pants, keep at least one piece of your outfit flowy and a bit undone.
2. Keep It A Little Untamed
Whether it’s the hair, the clothes or the makeup there is always an element of freedom and untameness to this look. Your hair doesn’t have to be perfectly brushed or curled. Your makeup doesn’t have to be to the nines, in fact it’s best if you keep it light and natural. Keep the pumps at home because you won’t need them. Flats, sandals or better yet bare foot are perfect for this look.
3. Adorn Yourself With Accessories
Accessorizing is a huge part of this look. Wear stackable bracelets, long chain necklaces, body chains, midi rings, floppy hats or headbands to complete the boho look. The more the better, there is no such thing as over accessorizing here.
